An Act Further to amend The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Entertainments and Betting Tax Act, 1979) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002) Act, 2003

It is Hereby enacted by the State Assembly in the Fifty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follwos:-

Section 1. Short title Extent and Commencement

1. Short title Extent and Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called The The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Entertainments and Betting Tax Act, 1979) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002) (First Amendment) Act, 2003.

(2) It extends to the whole State of Uttaranchal.

(3) It shall come into force with immediate effect.

Section 2. Amendment of Section 3-A of The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Entertainments and Betting Tax Act, 1979) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002)

2. Amendment of Section 3-A of The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Entertainments and Betting Tax Act, 1979) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002).- In clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 3-A of The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Entertainments and Betting Tax Act, 1979) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002) for the words, "One rupee fifty paise" the words "Three rupees" shall be substituted.
