An Act further to amend the Telugu University Act, 1985.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Telugu University (Amendment) Act, 1990.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th February, 1990.
2. Amendment of section 9.- In the Telugu University Act, 1985, (Act 27 of 1985) in section in sub-section (1), for the words "Chief Minister" the word "Governor" shall be substituted.
3. Repeal of Ordinance of 1990.- The Telugu University (Amendment) Ordinance, 1990 is hereby repeated.
