An Act to repeal the Raw Jute (Central Jute Board and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1951.
Whereas it is expedient to repeal the Raw Jule (Central Jute Board and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1951 (Ben. Act VI of 1951);
It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Raw Jute (Central Jute Board and Miscellaneous Provisions) Repealing Act, 1952.
2. Repeal of West Ben. Act VI of 1951.- The Raw Rule (Central Jute Board and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1951 (Repeal of West Ben. Act VI of 1951), is hereby repealed.
3. Protection.- (1) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Raw Jute (Central June Board and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1951, no suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government and no suit, prosecution or oilier legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which was in goad faith done, or intended to be done, under that Act or any rules made thereunder while that Act was in force.
(2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the provisions of section 8 of the Bengal General Clauses Act, 1899 (Ben. Act I of 1899).
