An Act further to Amend the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1959
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Orissa in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 2002.
2. Amendment of section 3.- In section 3 of the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1959 (Orissa Act of 1959) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "four thousand and five hundred rupees", the words "five thousand and five hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of section 4.- In section 4 of the principal Act, for the words "rupees two thousand", the words "rupees three thousand" shall be substituted.
4. Amendment of section 4-A.- In section 4-A of the principal Act, for the words "rupees four thousand and five hundred", the words "rupees seven thousand and five hundred" shall be substituted.
