*Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1995**

An Act further to Amend the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1959.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1995.
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of August, 1995.
2. Amendment of section 3.- In the Orissa Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker's. Salary and Allowances Act, 1959 (Orissa Act 25 of 1959). In section 3, for the words "two thousand rupees", the words "three thousand and five hundred rupees" shall be substituted and after section 3, the following new section shall be inserted, namely;-
"3-A. Setting Allowance.- There shall be paid to the Deputy Speaker a daily sitting allowance for attending Assembly Session or Committee thereof, of one hundred and fifty rupees."
