An Act to Amend the Orissa Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1951.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Orissa Hindu Religious Endowments (Amendment) Act, 1991.
2. Amendment of Section 27.- In the Orissa Hindu Religious Endowments, Act, 1951 (Orissa Act 2 of 1952), in sub-section (1) of section 27, after the words and comma "hereditary trustee," the words and comma "with the prior approval of the State Government," shall be inserted.
