to amend the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (No,- 11 : of 1948) BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in tho Forty-thitd Yearof the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title and commencementi—( 1) This Act may be called the MinimumWages (Manipur Amendment) Act, 1992. (2)_ It shall come into force on Inch date as the State Gammon: may, by notification in the official gazette, appoint.

2. Insertion of section 22-CG.-—-Inthe Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (No. 21 of 1948) below section 22-C, the following section shall be inserted, namely—
"22-CC—-—-Compounding of o fiences.—-An officer specially empowered by
the State Government in this behalf by notification in the official gazette may, subject to any general or special order of the Stat e Government in this
