An Act further to amend the Kerala High Court Act, 1958.
Preamble.- Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Kerala High Court Act, 1958, for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
Be it enacted in the Fortieth Year of Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Kerala High Court (Amendment) Act, 1989.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of Section 3.- In section 3 of the Kerala High Court Act, 1958 (5 of 1959), in sub-clause (b) of clause (13), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the wor ds "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
