An Act further to amend the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957
Preamble.- Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957, for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
Be it enacted in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 1983.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 2.- In sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957 (6 of 1957), for the words "eight hundred lakhs of rupees", the words "fifteen crores of rupees" shall be substituted.
