An Act to amend the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970, in its application to the State of Haryana.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Forty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1997.
2. Amendment of taction 34 of Control Act 16 of 1970.- In sub-section (4) of section 34 of the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970, for the words and sign "Examiner, Local Fund Accounts", the words and signs "Director, Local Audit, Haryana" shall be substituted.
