Preamble

An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Sadasya (Vetan, Bhatta Tatha Pension), Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 7 of 1973).

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty Sixth Year of the Republic of India as follow:-

Section 1. Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act be called the Chhattisgarh (Vidhan Sabha Sadasya (Vetan, Bhatta Tatha Pension), (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2005

(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official gazette.

Section 2. Amendment of Section 4-A

2. Amendment of Section 4-A.- In Section 4-A of the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Sadasya (Vetan, Bhatta Tatha Pension) Adhiniyam 1972 (No. 7 of 1973) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act) for the words "Five. Thousand" the words "One Thousand" shall be substituted.

Section 3. Amendment Section 4-B

3. Amendment Section 4-B.- In Section 4-B of the Principal Act for the words "Two Thousand" the words "One Thousand" shall be substitued.

Section 4. Amendment of Section 4-C

4. Amendment of Section 4-C.- In sub-section (i) add (ii) of Section 4 of the Principal Act for the words "Two Hundred Fifty" the words "Five Hundred Ninety Five" shall be substituted.

Section 5. Omission of Section 4-D

5. Omission of Section 4-D.- Section 4-D of the Principal Act, shall be "omitted"

Section 6. Amendment of Section 7-1

6. Amendment of Section 7-1.- In Section 7-1 of the Principal Act, for the words "Three Thousand" the words "One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty" shall be substituted.
