BIHAR STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011
AN
ACT
Preamble:—To amend the Bihar staff selection commission Act 2002 (Bihar Act 7, 2002) as amended by Bihar staff selection commission (Amendment) Act 2007 (Bihar Act 26, 2007).
Be it enacted by the legislature of state of Bihar in the sixty two year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may shall be called the Bihar Staff Selection commission (Amendment) Act 2011.
(2) It shall extend to whole of the state of Bihar.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
2. Substitution of sub-section (1) of section-3 of Bihar Act 7, 2002.—Sub- section (1) of section -3 of the said Act shall be substituted by the following:-
"(i) Bihar staff selection commission shall be constituted consisting of a chairman and number of members as determined by the State Government."
3. Substitution of section- 5 of Bihar Act 7, 2002.—Section -5 of the said Act shall be substituted by the following:-
"5. Services/Cadre/Posts/for which The commission may recommend for appointment:—The commission may recommend for appointments to all General/Technical/non technical services/ cadres/ posts under the State Government and its field offices having grade-pay less than Rs.4800 grade pay (Rs four thousand eight hundred) (as revised from time to time) and as provided in the Rules.''
4. Substitutions of sub-section (2) of section 9 of the said Act.—Sub-section (2) of section 9 of the said Act shall be substituted by the following:—

"(2) The Chairman of the Commission may entrust the responsibilities of the Controller of the Examinations to any one of the members and the responsibilities of the Administrative Section to any one of the other members"
