An Act to amend the Assam Science and Technology University Act, 2009
Whereas it is expedient to amend the Assam Science and Technology University Act, 2009, hereinafter called the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; (Assam Act No. III of 2010)
It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) The Act may be called the Assam Science and Technology University (Amendment) Act, 2011.
(2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act
2. Amendment of section 8.- In the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for the words "The Governor of Assam", the words "Chief Minister of Assam" shall be substituted.
