Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of District) Amendment Act, 19921

An Act further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of District) Act, 1980 (No. 3 of 1980).
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Forty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1 Received the assent of the Governor on 11-1-93.
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of District) Amendment Act, 1992.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come, into force on the 22nd day of September, 1992.
2. Amendment of Section 4.- (1) In sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of District) Act, 1980 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words, figures and "brackets sub-sections. (1) above", the words, figures and brackets "sub-sections (1). and (3) of this section" shall be substituted.
(2) After sub-sections (2) of section 4 of the principal Act, the following sub-section shall be inserted namely:
(3) On and from the appointed day the Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of Districts) Amendment Act, 1922, comes into force, so much of the areas comprising the following administrative units under the existing Lower Subansiri District, namely:-
(i) Sagalec.
(ii) Doimukh,
(iii) Balijan,
(iv) Itanagir (Capital complex),
(v) Manrgio, and
(vi) Kimin,
shall be constituted as a separate administrative unit and be known by the name of PAPUM PARE DISTRICT."
3. Repealing and saving.- (1) The Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of Districts) Amendment Ordinance, 1992 is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act, as amended by this, Act.
