An Act further to amend the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats Act, 1964.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats (Amendment) Act, 1986.
2. Amendment of section 25.- In sub-section (2) of section 25 of the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats Act, 1964 (Act 2 of 1964), the words "or no meeting of gram sabha is held" and "or one hundred and eighty days as the case may be," shall be omitted.
