An Act to amend the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968
Be it enacted by the legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This may be called the Andhra Pradesh Excise (Amendment) Act, 1998.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 32.- In the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, (Act 17 of 1968) in section 32, in sub-section (2), after the words "under sub-section (1)" the words "or clause (e) of sub-section (1) of section 31" shall be inserted.
