Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward Classes (Amendment) Act, 1995*

An act to amend the Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-sixth year of the Republic of India as follows:

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward Classes (Amendment) Act, 1995.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 7th September, 1994.
2. Amendment of section 9.- In the Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward Clashes Act, 1993 (Act 20 of 1993), in section 9, after sub-section (2), the following shall be inserted, namely:-
(3) It shall be competent for the Commission at the request of the Government to make an interim report in regard to any, Castes or Classes in who lose cases urgent action under the Act is, in the opinion of the Government necessary. Any action taken by the Government on the basis of such report shall be subject to review with prospective effect as and when the final report of the Commission is received.
3. Repeat of Ordinance 15 of 1994.- The Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward (Amendment) Ordinance, 1994 is hereby repealed.
