An Act Further to Amend the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University Act, 1963
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (Second Amendment) Act, 1996.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, appoint.
2. Amendment of section 1.- In the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University Act, 1963 (Act 24 of 1963) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act) in section 1, for sub-section (1), the following sub-suction shall be subsisted namely;-
"(i) This act may be called the Acharya N.G. ??? Agriculture University Act, 1983."
3. Amendment of section 2.- In Section 2 of the principal Act, for clause (o), the following ??? shall be substitution namely,
"(o) "University" ??? the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agriculture University constitution under section 3,"
4. Amendment of section 3.- In section of the principle or in sub-section (1) for the words "Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University", of the words "Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University", shall be substituted.
