An Act further to amend the Indian Factories Act, 1911, for a certain purpose.
Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Indian Factories Act, 1911 (XII of 1911), for the purpose hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

2. Amendment of section 37, Act XII of 1911.- After clause (i) of sub-section (2) of section 37 of the Indian Factories Act, 1911, the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
"(ii) precautions against fire:"
